Webinar: 26 November - In the race for business success – ethnicity matters
November 26th 2020, Remote

Rosalyn Breedy will be chairing a webinar for Wedlake Bell Solicitors with pay-gap reporting specialists Spktral.

She will be giving practical advice on how businesses can promote diversity, including key considerations to bear in mind when preparing for ethnicity pay gap analysis.

Lots of businesses are using the shake-up caused by Covid-19 and the momentum from the Black Lives Matter movement, to focus on their culture and internal structure and many are seeing this as an opportunity to get the ball rolling with diversity programmes including diversity audits.

Other speakers include:

 Laura Conway, senior associate of Wedlake Bell;

  • Richard Isham, head of employment at Wedlake Bell; and
  • Anthony Horrigan, CEO of Spktral.

 The webinar will cover:

  • behaviours to tackle and steps to take to protect your business and become a leader in diversity;
  • the difference between positive discrimination and positive action;
  • how to prepare for ethnicity analysis, including data gathering and categorisation (use of "BAME");
  • pre-empting and addressing risk;
  • impact in the workplace.
